Yougu Technology Solidly Launches Series Activities for “Work Safety Month”
This June marks the 24th National Work Safety Month. Guided by the theme “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identify Hidden Safety Hazards Around Us”, all staff of Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yougu Technology) thoroughly implement the important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety. Through well‑organized arrangements and multi‑pronged measures, the company has earnestly carried out a series of activities for Work Safety Month to fully consolidate the defense line for work safety.
At the beginning of June, jointly with its trade union, Yougu Technology held the launching ceremony and publicity meeting for Work Safety Month themed “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identify Hidden Safety Hazards Around Us” in the multi‑function hall. At the meeting, all departments discussed typical existing problems. The EHS Department was required to formulate detailed implementation measures in light of the company’s actual conditions, clarify responsible departments, individuals and deadlines, and ensure every workshop delivers solid implementation item by item.
On June 12, Yougu Technology, together with Changzhou Federation of Trade Unions, held the 2025 “Longcheng Staff Lecture Hall” training‑to‑enterprise event. Yao Feng, a specialist in safety training, delivered a course on Safety and Practical Operation of Lifting Operations (Special Trades including Welding and Overhead Crane Operation). More than 50 front‑line team members from the Manufacturing Department attended the training. The session helped employees further master core knowledge and operational skills for lifting work, strengthened their awareness of risk prevention and emergency handling capabilities, and laid a solid foundation for the company’s future work‑safety performance.
On June 18, under the guidance of Changzhou Federation of Trade Unions and organized by Xinbei District Federation of Trade Unions, the “Role‑Model Craftsmen Assisting Enterprises” campaign visited Yougu Technology. Huang Yi from Xinbei District Comprehensive Law‑Enforcement Brigade for Emergency Management gave a training session interpreting common hidden dangers in work‑safety accidents. From a professional perspective, she resolved practical questions and provided safeguards for the company’s work‑safety management.
Throughout June’s Work Safety Month, Yougu Technology’s EHS Department took multi‑faceted actions to strengthen safety safeguards. It sharpened emergency‑response “hard power” through realistic drills, and activated full‑staff collaborative governance “soft power” with the “Snap Hidden Hazards” campaign. Safety awareness has been deeply embedded in every workplace scenario, and the concept that “everyone is a safety officer” has become a solid force safeguarding corporate development.
Starting from mid‑June, special inspections for the “Seat‑Belt & Helmet” traffic‑safety initiative, fire evacuation and rescue drills, as well as electric‑shock emergency drills were successively organized. Scenario‑simulation exercises enhanced all employees’ practical safety capabilities. Meanwhile, the month‑long “Snap Hidden Hazards” campaign fueled employee engagement. Staff members acted as “safety scouts”, capturing hazards with cameras and realizing full‑staff participation in safety governance. Educational feature films on work safety were screened on a weekly basis. Shocking real‑life cases served as a wake‑up call for employees, building a multi‑dimensional safety protection network across the enterprise.
Work safety knows no finish line, only new starting points. Taking this series of Work Safety Month activities as an opportunity, Yougu Technology will further improve long‑term mechanisms for safety management and embed the philosophy of “Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response” into every work procedure. Moving forward, the company will continue to build consensus on safety among all employees, consolidate the foundation of work safety, underpin high‑quality corporate development with safety guarantees, and write a new chapter for Yougu’s growth underpinned by safe operations.
