The Fun Sports Meeting for Trade Union Members of Yougu Technology Kicks Off Passionately
As the Scottish Premiership kicks off to great fanfare, enthusiasm for sports among the public keeps rising. Inside the plant of Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yougu Technology), a fun sports meet exclusively for Yougu staff made its high‑energy debut. On August 22nd, the Fun Sports Meeting for Trade Union Members, co‑hosted by Yougu Technology and its Trade Union and co‑organized by the Administration Department, kicked off passionately. This sports feast combining competitiveness and fun has injected joy and vitality into busy work‑and‑life routines. It also united all Yougu employees through teamwork and hard‑fought competition.
Three distinctive events were carefully designed for the sports meet, each embedded with “team‑building codes” to help participants experience the power of collaboration through sports. The first event was the Three‑Legged Race. Employees paired up in twos, tying their adjacent ankles together with ropes. At the whistle, participants moved forward in unison, chanting “One‑two, one‑two”. Some teams moved smoothly with seamless coordination, while others stumbled over mis‑stepping and adjusted their pace by supporting one another. Cheers and laughter from spectators blended into a heart‑warming scene.
The subsequent Obstacle Relay Race tested both speed and seamless hand‑off. Competitors completed assigned tasks in sequence before passing the baton. Everyone held their breath, closely following every move of their teammates. High‑fives during baton exchanges and full‑speed sprints fully embodied the sports spirit of “Faster, Higher, Stronger — Together”.
The Tug‑of‑War, the final event, unquestionably became the highlight of the day. Teams from various departments gripped the rope firmly, leaning backward to form solid defensive lines. Once the referee signaled the start, the venue echoed with deafening cheers. After three intense rounds of competition, amid waves of cheers and applause, the champion and runner‑up were decided. This contest of strength and solidarity brought the games to a rousing close.
The exciting award ceremony followed the competitions. Liu Jianjun, Deputy General Manager of Yougu Technology; Wei Qiang, Director of Public Affairs; Kang Zhifeng, Director of Human Resources; and Chen Lu, Director of Engineering, presented prizes to outstanding teams. Each award represented participants’ sweat and joy, and bore witness to the enterprising spirit of Yougu employees.
The successful holding of this sports meet allowed employees to relieve work pressure and gain happiness through sports, while boosting team cohesion and centripetal force via collaboration. Going forward, Yougu Technology will continue to work with its Trade Union to build its “first‑class corporate culture” and advance cultural development.
