Uncover the Mysteries of Wind Power Technology, Illuminate the Path to Future Energy Stewardship

Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yougu Technology) is a national‑level Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise, which provides integrated solutions for high‑quality precision mechanical components for high‑end equipment manufacturing sectors including wind power generation, rail transit, medical devices and aerospace. As the world’s largest manufacturer by annual output of precision‑welded generator housings for the wind power industry, Yougu Technology pursues technological breakthroughs and industry leadership. Meanwhile, it takes nurturing young talents as an important mission, opening the door for teenagers to explore the world of renewable energy through a wide range of popular‑science activities.

On July 9, the “Little Journalists” from Changzhou Young Reporters Association visited Yougu Technology with great curiosity. Guided by interpreters, they first toured the Yougu Technology Exhibition Hall, where the exquisite wind turbine models caught their eyes. Afterwards, the students watched popular‑science videos on wind power in the lecture hall, gaining intuitive knowledge of wind turbine design and the principles of energy conversion. The engineer Q&A session was the liveliest part. The young journalists raised questions such as “Can wind turbines withstand typhoons?” and “Why do wind turbines have three blades?”. Engineers answered each question with easy‑to‑understand analogies, helping scientific knowledge sink in through relaxed interactions.

One month later, on August 7, more than 50 students from Longhutang Experimental Primary School and Longhutang No.2 Experimental Primary School, members of the Changbao Young Reporters Group, embarked on another wind‑power popular‑science tour. Inside the exhibition hall, acting as little explorers, they closely observed details of wind turbine models and listened attentively to interpreters’ introduction to wind‑power equipment structures and Yougu Technology’s technical achievements. Subsequent popular‑science videos deepened their understanding of wind power, and the engineer Q&A session delivered abundant practical knowledge. Questions including “What is the maximum length of turbine blades?” and “How much electricity can one rotation generate?” were patiently answered by engineers in plain language. Doubts were resolved in exchanges, and seeds of science quietly took root in young minds.

Two successive wind‑power popular‑science events were held from July to August. With professional briefings, hands‑on experiences and thoughtful interactions, Yougu Technology added a touch of “green technology” to students’ summer vacation. As an enterprise deeply engaged in the renewable‑energy sector, Yougu Technology fulfills its social responsibility with concrete actions. By building popular‑science platforms, it enables more teenagers to get first‑hand exposure to the new‑energy industry and understand green development concepts. In the future, Yougu Technology will continue to launch popular‑science activities in diverse forms. It will support youth growth with technological strength and contribute further to advancing sustainable development for humanity.
