On September 19, Vestas’ 1st Asian Welding Competition came to an official close. With outstanding performance in welding theories and hands‑on skills, Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Vestas, the event organizer originating from Denmark, is a world‑leading player in the wind‑power industry. For Vestas, welding constitutes a core procedure in manufacturing critical wind‑turbine components, bearing a direct bearing on the safety and stability of complete turbines. Through years of dedicated efforts, Vestas has built a sound and stable welding quality‑control system, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable growth of the global wind‑power sector.

As one of Vestas’ key global partners, Yougu Technology launched in‑depth global business cooperation with Vestas as early as October 2016. To date, it has delivered nearly 14 000 sets of various precision‑welded housings covering the 2 MW, 4 MW and EnVentus platforms.

During the pivotal transformation of global wind power from onshore to offshore, especially toward deep‑sea deployment, Yougu has delivered technical and industrial support for highly‑reliable key components.

Apart from solid competence in product technologies and craftsmanship, Yougu Technology has attained top‑tier international standards in management‑system certification with ISO 3834 certification for international welding‑quality systems. ISO 3834 is an authoritative standard formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for fusion‑welding quality management of metallic materials. Its core lies in quality control over the full welding workflow, ranging from raw‑material procurement and process design to production inspection, so as to guarantee the reliability and safety of welded products.
