Yougu Technology Successfully Conducts the 2025 Annual Fire‑Drill Exercise
To further strengthen all employees’ awareness of fire‑safety, improve capabilities for emergency evacuation, self‑rescue and coordinated response, and firmly consolidate the corporate safety‑production line of defense, the 2025 Annual Fire Drill of Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yougu Technology”) was successfully held on the afternoon of December 26. The drill was overall organized by the Yougu Technology EHS Management Committee, with Zhou Qiao, Director of the Welding Workshop, serving as the on‑site chief commander.
The drill simulated a fire accident triggered by propane leakage, focusing on two core subjects: personnel evacuation‑rescue and fire‑fighting self‑rescue. Prior to the drill, Zhou Chengmei, Senior EHS Supervisor, gave a detailed briefing on fire‑escape precautions and emergency response procedures.
Upon the drill alarm signal, employees evacuated quickly and orderly along emergency exits under the guidance of marshals, while simulated first‑aid for the injured was carried out simultaneously. After evacuation was completed, persons‑in‑charge conducted headcounts and reported to the chief commander to ensure no one was left behind.

During the hands‑on fire‑fighting session, the EHS team delivered systematic training and practical demonstrations on the standard operation of various fire‑fighting equipment. Instructors first gave detailed guidance on connection, deployment and operational specifications for fire hoses and hydrants. They then explained the correct donning procedures and key operation points for self‑contained breathing apparatus. Meanwhile, the standard “lift, pull, hold, squeeze” operating procedure for dry‑powder fire extinguishers was demonstrated on‑site, enabling participants to intuitively grasp key operational skills.
Following the briefing, drill participants took turns to perform practical exercises including fire‑hose connection and deployment, as well as dry‑powder‑extinguisher fire suppression, translating theoretical knowledge into solid emergency‑response capabilities.
After the drill, Wei Qiang, Director of Public Affairs of Yougu Technology, delivered concluding remarks. He pointed out that safety constitutes the lifeline of corporate development, bearing on every employee’s life and property as well as stable business operation. He emphasized that all staff should embed safety awareness into daily routines, take initiative to identify potential safety hazards at work, and achieve early detection, early reporting and early resolution, so as to jointly safeguard personal and corporate safety.

The successful fire‑drill exercise has effectively enhanced Yougu Technology employees’ comprehensive response capacity for sudden fire incidents and further consolidated the foundation for workplace safety. Going forward, adhering to the fundamental principle of “Safety First”, Yougu Technology will organize regular safety‑emergency drills of various types, continuously optimize the emergency‑response plan system, reinforce company‑wide safety awareness, and build a solid safety barrier for the enterprise’s high‑quality development.
