Chairman Fang Guoqiang of Changzhou Federation of Trade Unions and Delegation Visit Yougu Technology for Trade‑Union Work Research


On the afternoon of February 11, Fang Guoqiang, Deputy Director‑General and Deputy Party Secretary of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal People’s Congress as well as Chairman of Changzhou Federation of Trade Unions, led a delegation to Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yougu Technology) to conduct research on grassroots trade‑union work. Gu Yongjiu, Chairman and General Manager of Yougu Technology, Wei Qiang, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union, and other colleagues received the delegation and reported on relevant work.

The research group first visited Yougu Technology’s exhibition hall. Gu Yongjiu briefed them on the company’s development, giving an in‑depth overview of its business philosophy, talent strategy, technological innovation, global footprint and future development strategies. Both sides held in‑depth discussions on talent cultivation and industry prospects for key components of wind power generators.

Subsequently, the delegation paid a key visit to the trade‑union and Party‑building premises, learning in detail about the work and achievements achieved in recent years through boosting trade‑union development via Party‑building efforts at Yougu Technology. They also received reports on the construction of the staff training system and organizational culture building.

At the Gu Yongjiu Model‑Worker (Craftsman) Innovation Studio, the delegation listened carefully to reports covering studio establishment, technical training and innovation activities. Chairman Fang fully recognized Yougu Technology’s achievements in Party‑building premises construction, staff training system development, as well as inheritance of the craftsman spirit and model‑worker spirit. Lastly, Chairman Fang put forward suggestions and expectations for Yougu Technology’s trade‑union work and employee development:

First, continuously improve the staff training system, optimize the talent structure, and foster a large contingent of highly‑skilled employees for the enterprise.

Second, step up publicity for outstanding craftsmen and role models, promote the craftsman spirit and model‑worker spirit, and set benchmarks within the industry.

Third, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with universities, further improve R&D platforms, expand cooperation scope with higher‑learning institutions, and create more platforms for employees’ skill improvement and technological innovation.
