On the afternoon of March 8, the 2024 Annual Commendation Conference of Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yougu Technology) was held in the studio hall on the third floor of Yougu Electrical Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. Gu Yongjiu, Chairman and General Manager of Yougu Technology, together with other management members attended the event. More than 100 participants including all office‑staff and award‑winning employees were present.
Honours were conferred on outstanding performers to witness the power of role models. At the ceremony, Yougu Technology commended outstanding employees and teams for their achievements over the past year. Shining in their respective positions, they have made vital contributions to the company’s growth.
Over the past year, Yougu staff have demonstrated responsibility through deeds and fulfilled their mission with commitment. They rose to challenges at critical moments, laid solid foundations for corporate development with practical actions, and strived to usher Yougu Technology into a new 2.0 development era. Representatives of award‑winning employees took the stage one after another to share their testimonials. With simple and sincere words, they told ordinary yet inspiring stories behind their hard‑won progress. Between commendation sessions, entertaining interactive games including “Silence Speaks Louder Than Words” and “Tangled Knots” pushed the atmosphere to new heights. Participants engaged actively and cooperated with one another, showcasing the vigorous spirit of Yougu’s workforce.
Following the awards ceremony, Gu Yongjiu delivered an address.
He pointed out that the company is operating in the promising global track of the new‑energy wind‑power industry. Centered on building the “Five First‑Class Goals”, Yougu Technology demonstrates corporate strength and charisma through “First‑Class Culture”; drives continuous progress by fostering a “First‑Class Team”; fuels sustainable development with “First‑Class Management”; delivers core momentum for onshore and offshore wind power relying on “First‑Class Technology”; and safeguards superior product quality with “First‑Class Equipment”.
Thanks to joint efforts of all staff in 2024, Yougu Technology accomplished four landmark achievements:
1. Establishment of the Yougu Technology Public Welfare Fund On February 2, 2024, marking the 8th anniversary of the company, Yougu Technology jointly set up the Yougu Technology Public Welfare Fund together with Changzhou Red Cross Society as a tribute to its eighth anniversary.
2. Passing the SGRE FAI Audit From April 8 to 12, 2024, the segmented stator support for NG12 direct‑drive wind generator — a key component for offshore wind power manufactured by Yougu Technology — successfully passed the FAI audit of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE).
3. Cumulative delivery of precision‑welded generator housings exceeds 100GW By October 2024, Yougu Technology’s total delivered volume of precision‑welded generator housings for doubly‑fed, direct‑drive and semi‑direct‑drive and other technical solutions for the global wind‑power industry had surpassed 100GW.
4. Completion and commissioning of Yougu Electrical’s project After more than two‑year construction, the “Phase‑I Industrialization Project for High‑Power Offshore Wind Generators and Cooling Systems” of Yougu Electrical was completed upon acceptance and gradually put into operation. As a key project of Jiangsu Province, it was also listed among the “Top‑Ten Key Projects of 2024” in Xinbei District, Changzhou.
He emphasized that 2025 marks the final year of the 14th Five‑Year Plan period and a turning point for industrial upgrading across the wind‑power sector. For Yougu, it is a critical year for achieving higher‑level growth. We shall base our work on annual targets, assess overall trends, pursue holistic planning and advance initiatives in a focused manner to deliver on annual goals. Internally, we shall fully leverage operational momentum, further advance lean management, and lift corporate management to new heights with higher standards and more solid measures. Externally, we shall forge ahead with confidence, seize opportunities brought by high‑power offshore wind power development, and strive for new breakthroughs in high‑quality corporate growth.
This conference not only summarizes the hard‑won achievements of the past year, but also serves as a rallying call for the brand‑new journey ahead. It inspires all colleagues to unite, overcome difficulties together and strive for success in 2025.
