On November 22, under fine weather, Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yougu Technology”), together with its Trade Union, organized employees for the 2025 team‑building activity themed “Gather Strength at Yougu, Innovate for a New Future of Wind Power” at Longfeng Valley Scenic Area of Taihu Bay. Gu Yongjiu, Chairman and General Manager of Yougu Technology, took part throughout the event. He cooperated and interacted harmoniously with employees, fostering a more cohesive and warm team atmosphere. The activity served as a warm bond for staff to unwind and strengthen friendships. At the opening, the lead instructor quickly broke the ice with an engaging number‑calling game, easing awkwardness and helping everyone settle into the relaxed team‑building rhythm. Participants were then flexibly divided into teams according to headcount. Each group elected a team leader and created its team name and slogan. These ritual‑rich sessions helped every member build a sense of belonging and laid a solid foundation for subsequent team challenges.
The subsequent “Strongest Team” challenge put the importance of teamwork into practice. Each team needed to complete three demanding events in sequence: “co‑operative tower‑building”, “fun ball‑throwing” and “unstoppable momentum”. The final ranking was determined by total completion time for all tasks, with the fastest team awarded the title of “Strongest Team”. Every event set high requirements for overall planning, rhythm control and team cohesion.
During pre‑challenge preparation, team members held heated discussions. Some proposed solutions while others ran simulation drills. They explored optimal strategies through repeated trial‑and‑error adjustments, and awareness of teamwork grew stronger amid idea collisions. When the official challenge began, all teams proceeded in an orderly fashion with seamless coordination, accompanied by constant cheers and encouragement. In the end, the “Wind Prevails All‑Over” team claimed the title of “Strongest Team” thanks to flawless collaboration and high‑efficiency execution.
Towards the close of the activity, a traditional dragon‑dance ceremony brought the team‑building event to a satisfying end. Employees took full part in making dragon bodies and learning dragon‑dance moves, immersing themselves in the unique charm of traditional culture.
At the highlight of the ceremony, Gu Yongjiu personally performed the traditional dragon‑eye dotting ritual. As the dragon eyes were lit up, five brightly‑colored long dragons “came alive” under participants’ skillful movement, drawing rounds of applause for their vivid gestures.
Warmth intensified over lunch break. The company prepared a surprise for employees celebrating birthdays in November with a simple yet heartfelt birthday ceremony. This thoughtful gesture embedded in team‑building made birthday colleagues feel the warmth of home and brought everyone closer amid laughter.
The afternoon was reserved for casual free‑time activities. Some employees wandered in small groups amid the scenic views of Longfeng Valley at Taihu Bay; others sat together sharing interesting stories from work and daily life, filled with cheerful chatter.
As the sun set, the team‑building activity concluded with participants still longing for more.
