"Smart Energy Island" Settles at Longhutang Experimental Primary School, Illuminating Youth Science‑Popularization Path for New‑Energy Knowledge
To further advance education for children and adolescents and actively fulfill corporate social responsibility, Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yougu Technology”), together with the Changzhou Red Cross Society, donated a "Smart Energy Island" sand‑table model to Longhutang Experimental Primary School. On the afternoon of March 19, the launch ceremony for the "Smart Energy Island", co‑sponsored by the Yougu Technology Public‑Welfare Fund and the Changzhou Red Cross Society, was held at the Linglong Campus of Longhutang Experimental Primary School.
At the ceremony, representatives from the enterprise and the school jointly lit up the "Smart Energy Island".
After the ceremony, children toured the "Smart Energy Island" under the explanation of Peng Liang, R&D Engineer at Yougu Technology.
Centered on the full industrial chain of new energy, the "Smart Energy Island" adopts intuitive scenario‑based displays. It converts professional knowledge concerning power generation of wind, photovoltaic, nuclear and other new‑energy sources, energy storage, power transmission & distribution and terminal applications into accessible popular‑science content. Children get a close‑up view of the whole new‑energy workflow of “generation, storage, transmission, consumption and grid connection”, and gain knowledge of clean smart energy via immersive experience.
The journey of public welfare marches on. As early as September 2024, supported by the Yougu Technology Public‑Welfare Fund, Yougu Technology donated the “Kangkang Charity Library” to Longhutang Experimental Primary School, with a total of 1,300 books donated to create a reading‑enriched growth space for children.
On February 2, 2024, Yougu Technology and the Changzhou Red Cross Society jointly set up the Yougu Technology Public‑Welfare Fund. Since its establishment, Yougu Technology has stayed committed to its public‑welfare mission. It has launched a host of social‑welfare projects, including assistance for disadvantaged groups, youth‑oriented health initiatives, charity book‑collection drives and sponsorship for sports charity events, giving back to society with sincere compassion.
