Wins New Honor | Yougu Technology Selected into Changzhou Near-Zero Carbon Factory List 2026
n September 30, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Changzhou Municipality released the public notice list of Changzhou Near-Zero Carbon Factories for 2026. Changzhou Yougu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yougu Technology") was successfully selected. This honor fully recognizes Yougu Technology’s green production model, low-carbon achievements and strengths in sustainable development. It also serves as a vivid practice of the corporate mission "For the Sustainable Development of Humanity", marking another key milestone for Yougu Technology in its commitment to green manufacturing and low-carbon transition.
A near-zero carbon factory refers to an enterprise that, on the basis of a green factory, further establishes a scientific and standardized greenhouse gas management system. By carrying out energy-saving retrofits, adopting clean energy and implementing green supply chain management, the factory continuously cuts greenhouse gas emissions and gradually approaches net-zero emissions.
Guided by the corporate strategy of "Customer Orientation, People Orientation, Operational Excellence and Green Development", Yougu Technology has taken green development as a core priority and upheld the business philosophy of sustainable development. Focusing on clean energy substitution, production process innovation, energy efficiency upgrading and resource recycling, the company comprehensively pushes forward carbon reduction across the plant, building a full-process and systematic near-zero-carbon production and operation model, and striving to set a benchmark for the green and low-carbon transition in the wind power equipment industry.
In terms of clean energy application, Yougu Technology has completed a 2.2MW rooftop photovoltaic project covering 26,677 square meters of factory rooftops. It generated 1.95 million kWh of photovoltaic power in 2025. Combined with green power procurement and green certificate verification, 100% of the factory’s power consumption comes from renewable energy, delivering an annual carbon emission reduction of over 1,188 tons. Meanwhile, the company actively promotes green upgrading of on-site logistics by deploying multiple electric transport vehicles, achieving an 87.5% electrification rate for in-plant logistics and an annual carbon reduction of more than 193 tons. These tangible green practices put the company’s sustainable development philosophy into action.
Yougu Technology integrates green and low-carbon concepts into product process development and the entire production chain. It has built a multi-source coordinated low-carbon energy system through electrification equipment renovation and energy storage microgrid deployment. In addition, the company focuses on energy-saving renovation of factory buildings, carrying out all-round optimization of workshop lighting, HVAC systems and workshop partitions, achieving annual power savings of more than 8,000 kWh.
Going forward, taking this selection as a new starting point, Yougu Technology will continue to optimize its energy mix, reduce carbon emission intensity, improve the green supply chain system, strengthen technological innovation support and build a professional low-carbon talent team.
